Gifts Card Vault

All your gift cards. One secure place.

About

Gifts Card Vault stores your gift cards on your phone so you always have the balance, the card number and the barcode ready at the register. Scan a card with the camera, import a PDF or image, paste a link, or type the details in by hand.

There is no account and no server. Everything stays on your device and nothing is ever uploaded. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Gifts Card Vault has no accounts and no sign-up at all — open the app and start adding cards. Nothing you add is sent anywhere.

Where are my cards stored?

In a private database inside the app on your phone. They are not backed up to any server, which also means they cannot be recovered if you uninstall the app or lose the device.

Will my cards move to a new phone?

Not automatically, because nothing is stored in the cloud. To move a card to another device, open the card, tap Share, choose Show QR Code, and scan it from the other phone using Add Card → Scan QR Code. This works completely offline.

The camera isn't reading my card

Make sure the card is well lit and the number is in focus, and that camera access is allowed for Gifts Card Vault in your phone's Settings. If scanning still fails you can always add the card with Manual Entry.

My PDF import didn't pick up the details

Digital gift card receipts read best. Scanned or photographed PDFs are read with on-device text recognition and may need corrections — you can edit any field before saving.

The barcode won't scan at the checkout

Open the card and tap the barcode to show it full screen — Gifts Card Vault brightens the display automatically. If the scanner still struggles, the cashier can key in the card number shown underneath.

How do I delete my cards?

Swipe a card in the list to delete it individually, or remove everything at once with Settings → Delete All Cards. Uninstalling the app also deletes every card. Deletion is permanent — there is no cloud backup to restore from.

Is it safe to share a card?

A gift card barcode is like cash — anyone who can see it can spend the card. Card Vault always asks before sharing, and including the PIN is a separate choice. Only share cards with people you trust.
